The inaugural contest is for poems on the theme 'The Ways of Water'

Submit watery poems of any kind to be judged by Canal Laureate Roy McFarlane. All proceeds from the competition will be donated towards the restoration of Kilby, a theatre boat for Oxford.

In the adult category there are prizes of £100 and a Zoom editing and feedback session with poet Vanessa Lampert, £50 and feedback and £25 and feedback. Winners in the under 12s and 12-18 categories will receive book tokens.

The entry fee in the adult category is £5 for one, £8 for two and £10 for three.
