The new competition for nature writing celebrates 60 years of the Scottish Woodland Trust
Entries of writing about personal encounters with Scottish wildlife are invited. Submissions may take the form of poetry, journalism, letters, lyrics or short fiction, and may be fiction or non-fiction. All entries must be connected to Scottish native wildlife. Enter writing up to 1,000 words.
The winner of the adult category will receive a pair of Osprey binoculars, an environmental book subscription, a £200 NHBS voucher and a one-year subscription to the Scottish Woodland Trust or one of its wildlife adoptions. The junior (under 18s) winner will receove a trailcam starter bundle, NHBS voucher and Trust/wildlife adoption membership.
The closing date is 31 August.
